I've been a professional musician since 1984. I've played coast to coast, and on cruise ships. I've played Country, Rock, R & B, Disco, Funk, and on and on. From concerts to churches, I've played them all.
There are three artists for which I attribute my writing style: Jim Croce, Radney Foster, and John Denver. Obviously there is more to me than this, but you get the idea.
I have written 428 songs in a variety of styles: Country, Gospel, Rock, etc. I don't have a favorite; I love 'em all. I'll be adding links to some of them soon.
Perhaps my greatest accomplishment as a songwriter is my Gospel song Faith You're Walkin' On. It was recorded by Southern Gospel quartet The Tulsans. It received airplay on Gospel stations. It was also the song of inspiration on a Top 40 Country station. I'll be adding a link for the song soon.
I'm also the author of the humorous how-to book Startin' A Band (Or All The Stuff No One Told Me.) It was published by Total Publishing. It is available on Amazon. In addition to this I've written five other books (Non-Fiction and Fiction) and two screenplays. For more information go to www.okieauthor.com.
